What does a corporate event DJ provide besides music?

Music, and the room that goes with it. We bring a professional sound system scaled to your space with speech-clear vocal reinforcement, a wireless microphone package for executives and presenters, and light mic work for welcome remarks, sponsor mentions and award announcements. We run your schedule and coordinate with your AV team and venue at load-in. Event lighting is available as a separate add-on, quoted against the room. What we do not do is plan or produce the event: no staging, no rentals, no live musicians. Photo booths are coming soon as a separate service; join the early-access list if you want one for an upcoming date. We are the DJ, and we are the reason the floor fills after the formalities.

Question 2

Can you supply a certificate of insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We carry commercial general liability insurance and issue certificates of insurance at no charge. Send us the venue name, the exact entity to be named as additional insured, the required limits and the mailing or email address for the certificate, and we will have the COI issued and delivered directly to the venue. Most Manhattan hotels, museums and event spaces require this before load-in, so we ask for those details as soon as your contract is signed rather than in the final week.

How long does setup take at Manhattan venues?

A standard corporate setup takes about 90 minutes to two hours from the moment we reach the room, plus roughly an hour of breakdown. The real variable in Manhattan is building access, not the gear: freight elevator windows, loading dock scheduling, certificate of insurance approval and union labor rules can add significant time. We contact your venue ahead of the event to confirm the load-in window and dock schedule, and we make sure we are fully set, sound-checked and out of sight well before your first guest arrives.

Can you work with the in-house AV vendor at our venue?

Routinely, and in most Manhattan hotels and museums it is required. Many houses will not let an outside vendor touch their console, their ceiling speakers or their power, so the practical question is where the handoff happens. We will patch into the house system and bring only our own playback and DJ package, or run fully self-contained on our own speakers where the house permits it — whichever the venue and your budget point to. Put us in touch with the in-house AV lead once the space is contracted so the patch point, power and dock time are settled long before show day.

What does a corporate event DJ cost in NYC?

Accepted Answer

Our packages are $2,500 for a Corporate Mixer, $3,500 for a Corporate Celebration and $4,500 for a Corporate Premier, each covering up to four hours of DJ performance, event-specific music preparation, and setup and breakdown, with sound and microphone coverage confirmed against the venue. What moves a New York quote is usually the building rather than the music: extended hours, a second sound zone for a cocktail space, an early setup window forced by a freight-elevator slot, or event lighting, which is a separate add-on from $450. We put every line on the proposal so procurement sees exactly what is being paid for.

Do you DJ corporate events in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island City?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Manhattan is the bulk of our New York work, but we regularly play DUMBO and Williamsburg warehouse and loft venues, Brooklyn waterfront rooms, Long Island City studios and Queens hotel ballrooms. Load-in in the outer boroughs tends to be easier than Midtown — ground-level doors, on-street or lot parking — which often means we can offer an earlier setup or a longer set for the same budget. Travel within the five boroughs is included.

Question 7

How far in advance should we book a December date in Manhattan?

Accepted Answer

For a Thursday, Friday or Saturday in the first three weeks of December, book by early October at the latest; those dates are the first to go every year and we hold exactly one event per date. Midweek December dates and January kick-off parties have more room. If your venue is still being negotiated, tell us the shortlist of dates and we will pencil you in while you finish the contract.
