Private Party DJNew Jersey & NYC

A private party is harder to play than it looks. The guest of honor’s friends, their kids, their parents and the neighbors are all in one room, and the music has to belong to the person you are celebrating from the first song. We build the night from the ten songs that matter to them, set dinner music for the oldest table, open the floor on their era, and move across decades so every age has its moment, coming back to the honoree every few songs.

Then there are the parts nobody plans for: the toast that runs ten minutes, the cake that arrives early, the uncle who wants the microphone. We run the microphones for the toasts and announcements, keep the timeline moving without making it feel like a corporate event, and open the floor on the last word of the last speech, while everyone is already standing.

We are based in Jersey City and play private parties across Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties and in Manhattan and Brooklyn: backyards and finished basements, restaurant private rooms and buyouts, lofts, rooftops and rented halls.
